Thank you for registering for HOTL 2006.

 

A few notes for the regatta:

 

1) If you have trophies from last year, please bring them

2) If you did not send waivers, bring them. Hard copies of USRA waivers are fine. We are not checking online USRA waivers, bring a hardcopy.

3) If you did not pay, bring $$$

4) ALL Trailers will be parked across the street in the dirt lot. Please follow the signs. The first row of parking is for handicapped, even in the dirt lot.

The lot by the course AND the grassy amphitheatre near Hillsdale is for boats. There will be NO parking in the rec area, not for parents, not for

food setup, not for anyone EXCEPT handicap or emergency services. Bring a wagon or get the team to help. The lot is boats only. THe walk from the

dirt lot to the lot is still shorter than at Lake Natoma. Pay attention the the parking folks and the signs.

5) All tents will be set up near the basketball and tennis courts. There will be no tents near the dock area. 

6) No tents on the basketball or bocce courts.

7) No hanging, touching, or coming within 5 feet of the bronze statue. Not kidding here. This will be taped off, keep all athletes off of the statue. Anyone

hanging or touching will be eliminated from competition.

8) Practice on Saturday: No boats are to be unloaded or stored to the race/Park and Rec area until Sunday AM.

Any teams practicing on Saturday will need to unload by the trailer, rig by the trailer,

walk the boat across the street by the tennis courts (that is where the dock will be on Saturday) , launch and return boat to trailer area.

There is no wiggle room because there is a wedding at the Park and Rec and it's someones special day which the Park and Rec want to

keep that way. Violaters will be excluded. The city has no tolerance here.

9) Have a great row on a great waterway. This regatta is priveledged to have access to this great waterway and to basically take it over

for the weekend. Your teams will row in people's backyards so profanity and unsportsmanship will not be tolerated. Please tell your rowers

over and over again. We do not want to penalize a crew for profanity, but our USRA refs are ready to do it.
